I promise I'm not a jerk The Samford Crimson If you've read my columns this past semester, you've gotten to know me fairly well, though it is worth mentioning that I try my hardest to refrain from talking about myself in them. The View from the Editorial Board The Samford Crimson Another school year is speedily coming to a close. After spending 24 weeks in a freezing cold office reviewing stories about all that's happened at Samford, I've come to realize that there's so much more to this community than meets the eye. Students have a right to speak out, be heard The Samford Crimson Last week, many of you read Aaron Carr's article with horror alongside me ("How safe are we really," April 28). To hear of the way this situation was handled is shocking, but I am thankful that Aaron had the courage to report what happened. If you have been keeping up with the comments on the article on the Crimson's website, you will agree that what was being posted turned into defamatory, sexually explicit and wholly inappropriate rhetoric.
